Lisel & Oliver's Honeymoon Trip - May 2004
| Lisel and I were married at the Bishop's House in Boise, ID on May 2, 2004. We had originally planned to Oregon ( we moved to Cameron Park, California from Portland, Oregon a year earlier ) for our honeymoon but later decided to do a mixture of hiking, car camping and "motel ling" in several of this countries most spectacular national parks in southern Utah. We spent our wedding night in the Hay Loft Suite at the Anniversary Inn ( That's right, the Hay Loft Suite). It even came with it's own rooster as you can see in the image to the left. Bet you're jealous now! )
The next morning we departed Boise, ID on May 3rd in route to southern Utah. After an exhausting nine hour drive we arrived at the Bowen Motel in Moab, UT. This was our starting point for a day of hiking in Arches National Park. Below you will find links to some of the best pictures taken on our honeymoon - save anything from the last night which we spent in Las Vegas - a place we both decided was the low point after six glorious days of hiking. |
